Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TrackDad mobile app and this website, operated by Lothar Tjipueja, based in Namibia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using TrackDad, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with email and password, Apple, or Google. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use TrackDad.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• TrackDad offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans may include a free trial period, shown at checkout; if a trial applies, you won't be charged until it ends unless you cancel first.
• Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel anytime through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we don't process payments or refunds directly; those are handled by Apple/Google under their own policies.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown before purchase.

4. Your content

You own the transaction, budget, and list data you enter into TrackDad. You grant us a license to store and process it solely to provide the app's features to you (and to anyone you've explicitly shared a list with).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TrackDad for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to bypass subscription/paywall restrictions other than through legitimate purchase or restore;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or backend service;
• Upload content that infringes someone else's rights or violates applicable law.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Disclaimers

TrackDad is provided "as is." It's a personal finance tracking tool, not financial, tax, or investment advice. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TrackDad, including decisions made based on data you entered into the app.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you in the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
